Poor
Elrond doesn't have as many outfits as his daughter has. Nowhere even near
that! I must admit I am no specialist when it comes to Elrond's clothes, as
I have never studied him as much as I have studied Arwen. To me, he was always
wearing nice stuff - some of which I wanted to make at some time, like the
Council Velvet - but never as intriguing as the female elves.
Also, I find it quite complicated to get an overview and to distinct one outfit
from another. It's all still quite clear in FotR, but in Two Towers, it becomes
a mystery to me. He's mixing all kinds of robes, drapes, sashes, mantles...plus,
there are some pieces that have been cut out, apparently, when the Arwen scenes
had to go - like the Arch outfit for example. Generally there's not too much
research work done on Elrond yet. I'll try over the next months to get a decent
overview and do further research on the Two Towers and Return of the King
outfits, and that's why mostly FotR stuff is listed here as a start.
